But you can see on video and I checked it myself that padding does indeed work for these inline elements?!

Hi Andrzej,

Margin and padding on inline elements is very tricky. Here's an older community article that has some very helpful information in it.

It could be an error in the code. Try putting you're code in the verifier. If that doesn't work, then try saving and minimizing you're page
