Then create a function named random_item that takes a single argument, an iterable. Then use random.randint() to get a random number between 0 and the length of the iterable, minus one. Return the iterable member that's at your random number's index.
# EXAMPLE
import random
# random_item("Treehouse")
def random_item(iterable):
# The randomly selected number is 4.
random_num = random.randint()
if random_num > 0 and random_num < len(iterable)-1:
# The return value would be "h"
return iterable[random_num]
else:
print( "error")

1,568 PointsTry this .They are just asking to return a random alphabet from your string ,and not return H everytime
CODE:``` import random def random_item(arg): rand_num=random.randint(0,len(arg)-1) return arg[rand_num]
