What am I missing?

<script src="shout.js"></script> You don't need parenthesis because it's not a function.

Hey nothing is missing , only a tiny mistake "src" should be within the angel bracket. "src" is an attribute of script that specifies the URL of an external script file, and the code should look like following . Happy coding :)
