PHP PHP Basics (Retired) PHP Datatypes PHP Datatypes Challenge

There seems to be a bug in Associative Arrays Challenges.

When I get to challenge task 7/7 the error message '$colors does not seem to exist' is displayed and therefore hinders me from continuing to the next lesson.

index.php
<?php

//Place your code below this comment
$integer_one = 1;
$integer_two = 2;
$golden = 1.618;
$bool = True;
$colors = array('red', 'blue', 'green');
  echo $colors[1];

$favourite_colors = array('mike' => 'green', 'jane' => 'blue', 'chris' => 'yellow');

?>

Is there anything wrong with my code?

Your variable name is $favourite_colors which should be $favorite_colors. The error is the problem, it really should say '$favorite_colors does not seem to exist'.

Thank you Luke, that was the problem, my mistake

Tamiswanashe,

I found a spelling error $favourite_colors change to $favorite_colors .

$favourite_colors = array('mike' => 'green', 'jane' => 'blue', 'chris' => 'yellow');

// change to

$favorite_colors = array('mike' => 'green', 'jane' => 'blue', 'chris' => 'yellow');

Thank you Bob, that was the problem, my mistake
