17,417 PointsYou're right. It's mean that he says "This challange should have been easy," when it might be very hard for some people. When I did this course actually, I thought that challange was very hard. Everyone's brain works differently. Some people can understand one thing better while another person understands a different thing better. I actually fing JavaScript to be a very hard language to understand. I find HTML and CSS to be a lot easier. Some people though might say that JavaScript is easier than HTML and CSS. After all, everyone's brain work differently.

12,278 PointsThis challenge wasnt easy at all. Honestly, it wasn't necessarily the JavaScript that was hard. It was the formula.
"I provided the formula!" Well, no, technically you didnt. If you had, you would not have had to go in there and change it right in front of my eyes. Didn't help either that I still don't grasp how that formula works.

4,034 PointsOne thing that has kinda bugged me about this JS course is that in some parts they act as if your supposed to know that it should look a certain way. I would never have known or guessed I was supposed to put "lower" or "upper" where the number were. I get a lot of this stuff when they explain it, but when it comes to writing it myself and KNOWING what I am supposed to be writing, that part has been very difficult and discouraging.

17,417 PointsI do not think that the JavaScript courses on treehouse are that good.
Jack Cummins
17,417 PointsI have a tip to make that happen less often. When you learn the material, try to code something with it in your free time.

17,417 PointsWhat about "This challange should have been pretty easy"

1,866 PointsExactly. This is what the course leader stated at the starting of the video. Yes, if you have been doing Java Script for longer than 6 months.. maybe.
Adam Hama
Courses Plus Student 3,455 Pointspeople are different, some finds one programming language is easy than others, nothing is such as easy or hard :-)
Jack Cummins
17,417 PointsExactly!

2,779 PointsOh my word, I am not the only one! I totally agree with you all! Was just about to pack it all in. I was doing so well up until this point.

4,906 PointsThe hard part was figuring out the math formula. I don't think there is any reason to stress cause half the time in school I had to memorize formulas cause I just didn't get it. If you can write the function once the formula is shown, then I think you should be good or just go through the past videos a few more times.

4,369 Pointsomg THANK YOU for your comment, i was feeling guilty about memorizing the formulas i didint understand
Alexis Ruiz
9,237 PointsThe only thing I didn't understand about the formula was the +1.
