This code is correct but it is telling it is wrong

var money = 9;
var today = 'Friday'

if ( money >= 100 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater");    
} else if ( money >= 50 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie and dinner");    
} else if ( money > 10 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie");   
} else if ( money < 10 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");   
} else {
  alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home.");
}
This is correct! Why is it wrong.

You're right, your code should pass the challenge. To pass the challenge, I found this statement works:

else if ( today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");   
}

You're very close to getting it.

It looks like you just need to include a semi colon to close your "today" variable.

var money = 9;
var today = 'Friday';
