Ruby Ruby Basics (Retired) Ruby Methods Method Returns: Part 2

This is in regards to method returns part 2 challenge task. Error: Make sure you return a nicely formatted string.

Here's my code: def mod(a, b) puts "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is" return a % b end

puts mod(2, 3)

Hi Betuel,

You are pretty close. The challenge just asks for a return, so no need to puts. You want to the modulus math first. e.g.

def mod(a, b)
  c = a % b
  return "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{c}."
end
