this is my code, i am not sure why i cannot do it in this way.

def disemvowel(word): x=len(word)-1 voca=list(word) while x>=0: if voca[x].lower() is in ["a", "e", "i", "o","u"] del voca[x] x-=1 else: x-=1 return "".join(voca)
