11,447 PointsThis is not a question but an actual report of an error. My code does not pass step 2, but i get the correct alert
Even though the condition passes, I get the "Oops! It looks like Task 1 is no longer passing" message. I'm saying that the condition passes because i get the alert message saying "You are correct".
var answer = prompt('What is the best programming language?');
if (answer.toUpperCase() === 'JAVASCRIPT'){
alert('You are correct');
}

21,587 PointsI can verify you are correct. However, if you do exactly what they say and compare to the string 'JavaScript' without that fancy
answer.toUpperCase()
, it works.That is odd though that task 1 would fail.
