Totally not getting add hover color.

I really don't understand what's happening when I add the hover state? Please help. What am I doing wrong?

You have ] above the last statement instead of a }. Make that change and try it again : )

Hey Kyle,

you actually did it perfectly fine! :) The only problem is that you're closing the rule before with a ] instead of a curly brace (}). 

nav a {
    color: #fff;
  ]

So if you fix that it should work, good luck!

Steven is right. You need to close the nav a declaration with a curly brace before you can declare the nav a:hover.
