transparent overlay of my google chrome which displays ads after i click specially in treehouse website im not sure.

I am not sure if it's really coming from treehouse as every time i opened treehouse website most of the time the browser window is blocked with transparent overlay then if i click anywhere in the window it will open a new tab which displays advertisement site. It's kind of annoying that instead of im going to continue to watch tutorial videos i rather close the treehouse website. Please don't get me wrong. I observed this one week already. But if i open youtube or facebook everything is normal and there's no overlay window disturbing me. I observed this when i update my google chrome but why only in teamtreehouse website?

I need your help to fix this issue.

This shouldn't be happening. It may be something malicious. Have you got any Chrome extensions you didn't install? Try disabling all of them and see if you still get the problem.
