Tried to make portfolio/gallery 3 rows across when screen res >480px, not sure why it's not working...

I am trying to make pictures in 3 columns when the screen resolution is larger than 480px, currently is set to 2 columns under 480px. Margins are set to 2.5px on either side. Coded:

@media screen and (minwidth: 480px) { #gallery li { width: 28.3333} }

Help?

Thanks - I actually put "min-width" in my code, but mistyped it here - my problem was not adding the % sign to the width.
