Python Python Basics (2015) Logic in Python Try and Except

try and except

not getting it, gonna ask for help and check again in the am. goodnight.

trial.py 
def add(x, y):
    try:
        x = float(x)
        y = float(y)
    except value_error:
        return none
    else:
        return x + y
def add(x, y):
    try:
        total = float(x) + float(y)
    except value_error:
        return none
    else:
        return total

These are both good, pick either one (not both).

:point_right: But they both have the same name issues:

  • "value_error" should be "ValueError"
  • "none" should be "None" (capital N)

Fix those, and either one will pass the challenge.
