Trying, but don't know how to complete the 2nd challenge task.

Next, set the text content of the <a> element with the ID link to the value stored in inputValue.

Bummer: You need to select the 'input' element, and store its value in the variable 'inputValue'.

You're on the right track!

The first line of your code correctly selects the value of input and stores it to the variable inputValue. Your second line of code however is reassigning a different value to the variable inputValue, instead of assigning it's value to the other node. Might help to think of it this way:

  1. From document select the element with the ID "link" (leave out the <a> if you're using .getElementById)
  2. Use the element's textContent method to set the value to what's stored in your inputValue variable from before

If you can't get unstuck, here's the solution:

document.getElementById('link').textContent = inputValue;
