it looks like it works, could someone explain what i am doing wrong

20,315 PointsYou have accidentally indented it, that's it, just delete the whitespace at the start or just copy and paste this in:
player = {'name': 'yellow', 'remaining_lives': 3, 'levels': [1, 2, 3, 4], 'items': {'red': 3}}
This is the same code you wrote without the whitespace
