trying to do html quiz

Any number of things could be wrong, so sadly I'd be just guessing, and I don't know what you've already tried....you could try: 1) Reloading the page 2) Opening TH in another browser 3) Clicking inside the black code box and try typing anything 4) See if your keyboard is fully plugged in (I assume you can type elsewhere or how could you write this question?)

But again those are just random guesses...
