Trying to set the date. What am I doing wrong here?

NSDate *today = [NSDate date]; NSDate *futureDate = [NSDate dateWithTimeIntervalSinceNow:secondsPerDay*10];

[dateFormatter setDateFormat:"MM/dd/yyyy"];

You need to pass a NSString to the dateFormatter object, so you need to prefix the format with the @ symbol.

[dateFormatter setDateFormat:@"MM/dd/yyyy"];
