Ugh, I made this list and now it has some invalid pieces in it. Maybe you can help me clean it up. Use the .remove() me

Ugh, I made this list and now it has some invalid pieces in it. Maybe you can help me clean it up. Use the .remove() method to remove the last item from the list, please.

lists.py 
states = [
    'ACTIVE',
    ['red', 'green', 'blue'],
    'CANCELLED',
    'FINISHED',
    5,
]

The remove function is simply added to a list as so 

states.remove()

and whatever you are removing is placed inside the parentheses. This one is tricky because the list states actually has a list inside of it. We don't care about that internal list, so it looks like the last item in the states list is actually 5:

states.remove(5)
