JavaScript JavaScript Loops, Arrays and Objects Tracking Multiple Items with Arrays Using Array Methods

Unable to combine this array into a single string as per the challenge

I maybe missing something here that I can't solve

You're close, but you have a few issues:

  • the provided variable "month" should not be changed (katherine's 2nd suggestion will not work)
  • the join string contains only a comma, but the instructions call for "a comma AND a space"
  • the "console.log" call is missing the closing parenthesis after the argument

Thank you Steve the first option listed by Katherine worked. Thank you for the explanation it certainly helped a lot.

All you need is console.log(months.join(', '))

You could also do

months = months.join(', ');
console.log(months);

The second option did not work. But the first one definitely did. Thank you for your assistance.
