unable to find out what is wrong with the snippet...

it is not working

The problem is indentation, your print statement is indented to be on the same level as the for statement, which as far as Python is concerned means that your print statement is not a part of your for loop.

You can fix it by simply indenting the print statement one level so that it is within the for loop like this:

def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for item in items:
        if(item=="STOP"):
            break
        print (item)

That will allow you to pass the challenge.
