Unable to indent ? Im using a keyboard without direct square brackets, how should I indent?

To use square brackets I need to hit alt+8 or 9; when I try to indent lines of code they just don't move. because I am hitting cmd+8 or 9 (meaning I am hitting cmd+( or )). Any hints in how dumb I am being? Thanks

I am having the same problem, my keyboard is azerty and to get square brackets i need to type shift+option+5. when I type cmd+shift+option+5 it doesn't do a thing... when I want to indent a whole section of code I get stuck.

Have you tried Tab or Shift + Tab?

Is there a particular editor this is an issue with?

Im on a mac, using treehouse workspaces, shouldn't it be cmd+[?

I'm on a mac as well and both cmd+[ as well as what Sean T. Unwin suggested, tab, work for me in the Workspaces.

Have you tried Shift+Alt+8 or 9 . Otherwise, you can always click Edit > Indent.
