Unable to install Intel HAXM /dev/kvm is not found. Enable VT-x in your BIOS security settings, ensure that your Linux distro has working KVM module. This is the error that is coming when i try to run the android emulator

While I am unsure about the entirety of the answer, HAXM is strictly for Intel processors. With Ryzen CPUs being hugely popular nowadays, that might be your issue? I know because I ran into that same problem, luckily I have an android phone which is an easy workaround. Alternatively, you can pick up a cheap android phone for like $30 on eBay if you need to.
