Unable to pass array.reduce challenege

I been trying to get my head around it but failing to do so, here is my code

const phoneNumbers = ["(503) 123-4567", "(646) 123-4567", "(503) 987-6543", "(503) 234-5678", "(212) 123-4567", "(416) 123-4567"];
phoneNumbers.reduce((count, numbers)=>{
  if(numbers[1] === 5){
    console.log(count + 1)
  }else{
    //console.log(numbers[1]);
  }
},0)

But I cannot pass it for some reason

You seem to have the right idea but a few issues. Here's some hints:

  • leave the comments and write your code below them
  • the result needs to be stored in the "numberOf503" variable
  • a type-sensitive compare of a number and a string will always fail
  • you don't need to log anything
