Unable to upload photos for HTML tutorial

Hello, I am currently taking the HTML tutorial on the web design track and have come to the "Structure the Image Gallery" lesson where I have to upload photos to my workspace. The video shows the instructor dragging the images to the workspace side bar and then dropping them in a darkened square. I do not see this square on mine and the "upload file" option under the File menu option does not work for me. Is there something else I should do to upload the files?

Try to drag and drop them, the box will show up when, while you are mooving them to the gray sidebar, u get on it. If it still not working, try to install flashplayer or java again, or try it with another browser!

Thanks so much! It worked on a different browser. For me it did not work on Firefox.

It wasn't working for me either. I tried Firefox and Chrome. I eventually figured out that taking the pics out of the zipped folder (and putting them in a regular folder) and then dragging them to the workspace worked.

Until you unzip the photo, the photo doesn't exist aswell. I mean: if i have an archive, if i unzip it the content will be divided in single elements, but if you don t unzip it, the content shuold be still a single element.

You still can see the content as a "preview", but the content is not divided aswell.
