Unclear Directions in challenge. What does 'store the result in the answer variable.' mean?

I created a var answer; with no value. Now it wants me to add a prompt= ('what day of the week is it?'). It then asks me to store the result in the answer variable. Does that mean there is a correct answer? Or does this simply mean i put the prompt string into the value of the var? unclear.

It wants you to store the answer to the prompt in the "answer" variable. var answer = prompt('What day is it?');
