You placed the getInfo function outside of the Fish class. Because of this getInfo is not a method of Fish and when you try to call $bass->getInfo(), that method is not found.

To fix this, just place the getInfo function inside of the Fish class, like so:

<?php

class Fish {
 public $common_name;
  public $flavor;
  public $record_weight;

  function __construct($name,$flavor,$record){

    $this->common_name = $name;
    $this->flavor = $flavor;
    $this->record_weight = $record;

  }
  function getInfo(){
      return "A ". $this->common_name ." is an ". $this->flavor." flavored fish. The world record weight is ". $this->record_weight;
  }
}
$bass = new Fish("Largemouth Bass","Excellent","22 pounds 5 ounces");

$bass->getInfo();
?>

also, the getInfo method should not echo the string but return it. And, be careful to watch your concatenation is correct

Thank you!
