Understanding ANDROID STUDIO

Hello everyone, I've got some ploblem with my Android Studio; whenever I start it up or when I click on "play" in order to run the "FunFactsActivities" , it does not run at all on the nexus5x emulator, instead it displays "Gradle build finished with 1 error(s) in 5m 19s 929ms"

Please I would appreciate any help as the FunFactActivity app is a simple app and ought to run smoothly
