uploading file to workspace

the video says to click and drag all selected files to the bottom left corner and a darker box will appear for upload. everytime i try to do that no box appears. so i tried to upload the whole file. both files i tried to upload were empty. please help

Have you tried just right clicking in the folder/file bar, and clicking "Upload File"? I know lots of people are having issues with the drag and drop feature of Workspace.

Yes. i downloaded two different zip folders. i tried to right click upload folder. the folder uploads but it's empty. When i open the folder anywhere else it has the images in it.

I don't believe there is an "Upload Folder" option, unless of course you're dragging and dropping into the bottom left square. Is it possible you've clicked "New Folder" in the menu that appears on right clicking?

I can drag and drop folders, and everything works as it should.

Only thing I can recommend is using Sublime Text offline, and not a Treehouse Workspace.

Hi Ashley,

I think dragging and dropping folders may not work with certain browsers. You can try using Chrome, which I am pretty sure supports using folders, or just create a new folder and then upload the files with drag and drop.

Hope that helps!
