Silly question, is there any reason why I cannot see this example useful? not under respecting the teacher, nothing to do with him, but I cannot see the 'power' of using AJAX on this example? wouldn't just work with a simple JS code or JQuery?
I just find it difficult to understand terms if I cannot visualise why they are truly used for.

231,275 PointsAJAX is a set techniques that are implemented using JS code or JQuery. What makes it useful is that it allows dynamic content changes to occur without reloading the entire page.
Keep progressing in the course and see if the later examples make the purpose more clear.
