Using custom ttf font in xcode for iOS development.

Hi. I am trying to install the Baldur.ttf font for use in the Crystal Ball app. I first tried to install it regularly to Font Book. That worked perfectly, and I can use it in Word, Ps, Ai... but it doesn't show up in xcode. So I looked around and found this tutorial for installing custom fonts: http://refactr.com/blog/2012/09/ios-tips-custom-fonts/ but I am stuck near the end as the crystal ball app doesn't have a .xib file. What should I do?
