using .split()

I can't remember how to split the variable

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"

Hi Zach.

If you're trying to split the string by the special character ; then all you have to do is the following below. The result will be a list of strings.

available.split(";")

Results:

['banana split', 'hot fudge', 'cherry', 'malted', 'black and white']
