Using the has_value? method, check to see if the grocery_item hash has a value called "Bread". If it does, set a new key

I have absolutely no idea what to do. I've researched it and tried everything from grocery_item[:food = "true"] and MANY variations of that. PLEASE HELP

Hey Jonas,

You're close, you just need the proper syntax to add the "food" = true

grocery_item = { "item" => "Bread", "quantity" => 1, "brand" => "Treehouse Bread Company" }

grocery_item.has_value?("Bread")
grocery_item["food"] = true                #adds the key "food" to the hash with a value of True
