13,912 PointsSecond line is to just show , var answer has stored the user input !
Var answer = prompt ('what day is it?');
It's not accepting as correct answer and I can't move ahead on the challenge

19,141 PointsHi there,
Just a couple things:
- That second line, containing just 'answer;' can be removed - it's not currently doing anything
- Challenges tend to be case-sensitive when they ask you to use a specific string - try capitalizing the same way the directions do, for example:
var answer = prompt('What day is it?');

19,141 PointsAs I mentioned in my answer, you also need to properly capitalize the string - challenges are often picky about capitalization. Try capitalizing the 'W'.
