Var totalWidth not recognized as a variable.

I typed up this code for the challenge and it's saying that my 4th line of code "Var totalWidth xxxx" isn't a var. The error says something along the lines of "Did you use var with totalWidth?"

app.js
var width = '190px';
var numOfDivs = 10;
var width = parseInt(width);
var totalWidth = width * numOfDivs;

You've tried to make a variable called 'width' on line 3, when the variable was already defined on line 1. That's giving you the error. Delete width on line 3 and add this code instead (basically what you've already entered):

  • var totalWidth = parseInt(width) * numOfDivs;
