JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Making Decisions with Conditional Statements Introducing Conditional Statements

Variable

Very challenging, I have been work with this challenge more than an hour. I have no clue what I have missed. I need help. I use Firefox browser, if it is matter. Thanks

app.js
var answer= prompt('what is the best programming?');
if (answer === 'javaScript') {
  alert("You are correct");
}
index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
  <title>JavaScript Basics</title>
</head>
<body>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

My guess is that it is looking for you to type the text EXACTLY as you see it. For instance, should the prompt be "What is the best programming?" or "What is the best programming language?" I have noticed that if I don't get the language exactly right, the Treehouse challenges will not pass. Otherwise, your code looks good and it should pass.

var answer = prompt('What is the best programming language');
if (answer === 'JavaScript') {
  alert('You are correct');
} else {
  alert('JavaScript is the best language');
}

This should be the correct answer for all three steps.
