JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Storing and Tracking Information with Variables Using String Methods

was anyone able to figure this challenge, I have tried everythin but keep getting errors. Any help would be appreciated.

the challenge is under variables (challenge task 2).

Take the challenges as small tasks and it will be easier to solve them.

1 . Include the "#" in the lastName variable, like this:

var lastName = "#Smith";

2 .The final value of userName is union of id and lastName in upper case

var userName = id.toUpperCase() + lastName.toUpperCase()
