Hello! I see from your point score you are just starting out on the Android Techdegree here but this course is a bit further along and builds on concepts you should learn in previous courses. Since Android apps are written mainly in Java it's recommended to become familiar with the language first through the Learn Java track before starting with the Beginner Android track. The tracks should guide you along the correct order of courses. Good luck and happy learning!
