Website non-responsive

I'm in the workspace and have written the code out like the video, but when I click the "eye" button to view the webpage, I'm getting a blank space. It was working, now it's just blank.

a {
  text-decoration: none;
}

#wrapper {
max-width: 940px;
margin: 0 auto;
background: orange;
}

The ID "#" selector is missing on wrapper. Wrapper is not an element but name of ID or Class.

Just like Rostislav said. The wrapper its not an HTML tag by itself, so it has to be .wrapper (for a class) or #wrapper (for an ID).
