7,748 PointsI agree with both of you Jacob and Alex, Javascript Basics is awesome!
Last weekend I finished up Intro to Programming and starting working my way through JavaScript Foundations. They both were good, but I switched over to Javascript Basics when it was released and it's really great!
I think it really helps that the lessons have been broken down into smaller chunks compared to the old course.
I've noticed that when Treehouse relaunches/revises a subject they only get better.
Great job on this course Dave McFarland and Treehouse.

7,710 PointsI have to agree with everyone else. This is an excellent course. Your visual diagrams help out a lot; you warn us ahead of time about vocabulary (instead of me going back and wondering what I missed); you give us hand-crafted challenges and walk us through it (which helps me tremendously!). I cannot wait for your next course.

6,646 PointsHe's said in another thread here a second Javascript lesson should be released here soon. Hopefully.. :)
"We won't be changing the track until a second JavaScript course -- Loops, Arrays and Objects -- comes out in 2 months. At that point we'll replace Introduction to Programming and JavaScript Foundations with these 2 new courses."

4,918 PointsI agree, this course is really good and I think even complete beginners will understand it, that's how you do it! Very good teacher! I also like how you used female programmers in your examples Dave McFarland which is really nice since it's often forgotten we even exist. Made me feel very welcome to this course :). Thank you!
