What am I doing wrong?

This starting to make absolutely no sense.

script.js
function max(a,b) {
  if (parseInt(a) > parseInt(b)) {
    return a;
  }
  else {
    return b;
  }
}
alert( Math.random(a,b) );

Hi Marcus. On task 2, it asks you to call the function inside an alert. Instead, you have looked at the example and called Math.random() instead. Here is what you should have done:

alert(max(5, 10)) //you should have done something like this on the last line,
                  //the two numbers which you pass in can be any numbers.
                  //Make sure you call the max() function though! :)

You need to pass the "max" function in at the end instead of its arguments. Try alert( Math.random(max) );
