What am I doing wrong?

I added a conditional to filter out only input elements but it's still not correct. What should I be doing differently?

Hey Henry,

Try storing your 'event' parameter within a function in order to properly run your IF statement of applying a background color. Example below.

section.addEventListener('click', function(event){
  if (event.target.tagName == 'input') {
    event.target.style.backgroundColor = 'rgb(255, 255, 0)';
  }
})

Let me know if this does the trick.

You are really close on this, The only thing you forgot is how the tagName returns its string. Remember it's in ALL CAPS. so you need to change your string of 'input'. Rewatch the video around 5:25, where Guil explains it. Also reference the MDN link in the teachers notes to know more.

Alexander, I think that your code is the same as mine but mine uses the arrow function syntax instead of the regular function syntax.
