What am i doing wrong here?

I start the code from scratch and i'm not sure exactly what went wrong. Should i add an If statement?

script.js
var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");

do(secret = prompt("What is the secret password?")){
}while(secret !== "sesame")
  document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

Hello Nikita, I think you should watch the video again to get the syntax of the do while loops again. There's something wrong with your syntax... You will you introduce some parenthesis that wasn't suppose to be there. the syntax should be...

do {
  //write the code here
}
while(//condition goes here);

I hope this helps

  • You need to declare the secret variable outside the loop.
var secret;

do{
  secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
}
while ( secret !== "sesame" )
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");
