What am I doing wrong here?

it's supposed to display "Mike" and I have tested in other checkers and it does, but the checker for this section says I'm doing something wrong here.

Hi there.

It might be because you don't need the other HTML markup, but it's probably because you're missing a semicolon after "echo $name". PHP moans about everything!

<?php echo $name;?>
