What is the challenge? Maybe i can help :)

HI, The challenge is: Link each of the three list items. Portfolio should go to β€œindex.html”, About should go to β€œabout.html”, and Contact should go to β€œcontact.html”. It worked fine on the workspaces when I practiced it. Don't know where is went wrong. It keeps saying to add "index.html" for Portfolio.

Hi, There's an error in your anchor tag inside the list item. Try this:

<ul>
          <li> <a href="index.html">Portfolio</a>  </li>
          <li> <a href="about.html">About</a>  </li>
          <li> <a href="contact.html">Contact</a>  </li>
</ul>

Hi, Thanks. I will try it. :)

Right, you need to put the Text between the opening and closing a-Tags. Like this:

<a> Portfolio </a>

you've done that:

<a></a>Portfolio

Thanks ill try this.
