What am I missing?

print "What is your favorite movie? "
movie = gets.upcase
print "Your favorite movie is #{movie.chomp}?"

myfave = "departed"

if myfave.upcase == movie
  print " Mine too."
else
  print " I'll be sure to see it.\n"
end

Argh! so simple but I cannot figure it out. I have removed and re-added downcase and upcase with no luck. This only returns the else block.

Just move chomp to the line above:

movie = gets.upcase.chomp
print "Your favorite movie is #{movie}?"

thank you!
