This challenge asks for me to get all elements nested in the nav HTML element. I hav added classes to the li HTML elements and used document.getElementsByClassName(). No bueno. I have tried to use CSS selection using document.querySelectorAll(nav > ul > li). Again, no bueno.
It seems to negate any text added to the index.html and not all CSS selectors are available. Thus leading me to think that there is a WAY simpler answer than what I am creating. What it may be, I am at a loss.
Please Help!
let navigationLinks = document.querySelectorAll('nav > ul > li');

231,248 PointsYou're pretty close, but the challenge is asking you to "select all links in the nav element", but links are represented by anchor (a) elements. An "li" element is a list item.
Also, you can simplify things a bit by using a descendant selector and naming only the container and the target separated by a space. It's not necessary to name the elements in between or use direct child selectors.

11,007 Pointso The key to your answer is the <a> tag focus. Thank you SO much!
