I'm having trouble understanding when you use each loop. I understand what they do and how the work, but I don't know when to use each.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 33,271 Pointsthe way they work indicates when one would be useful rather than another one. for loops run a finite number of times and are good for actions you want completed a certain number of times, like for each element in an array. while loops run until a condition is false, so are used when you may not know how many times you need an action completed, or are waiting for something else to happen. while loops might never run, so the do while loop is available which is just like the while loop, but will always run at least one time.
