What do I do????

This creates a new variable and stores the current year in it. Now, add a statement that returns this variable from the function. (it looks like task 1 is no longer passing)

Hey Shihab,

First, make sure to follow your getFullYear method call with parentheses.

function getYear() {
  var year = new Date().getFullYear(); // Here
}

Then, you'll also want to add a semi-colon at the end of year to end the statement. 

function getYear() {
  var year = new Date().getFullYear();
  return year; // Here
}
