what do you mean by writting a doctype tag?

attempting a challenge but it does not say much of what it is I am to do.

Nick explains the <!DOCTYPE html> tag you are needing in the Build Structure video around the 1:03 time mark. If you missed it I would suggest you take another look at the video.

Hi Alex,

The <!DOCTYPE> declaration in an HTML document tells the browser what type of document it is. Hint: The tag you write should be the type of document you're creating. Ask yourself the following question: "What kind of document is this?" That answer should be what you write in your <!DOCTYPE> declaration.
