what does existing variable mean

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white" sundaes = available.split(";") menu= "Our available flavors are: {}".format (available) display_menu = sundaes.join(", ") menu = "Our available flavors are: {}".format(display_menu)

Hello Uma,

In the third Line are two little mistakes. menu= "Our available flavors are: {}".format (available)

  1. "blank" after format
  2. format(..) think here about the variable again.

Here is a mistake too. Try it in your workspace out to see what happen here. display_menu = sundaes.join(", ")

I hope you can find it out.
